Tim Jarvis AM is a qualified environmental scientist, an author and documentary filmmaker who has embarked on some of the most physically demanding historical expeditions. In the past decade, he’s recreated Sir Douglas Mawson’s Antarctic epic and Sir Ernest Shackleton’s crossing of the Southern Ocean – remarkably with essentially the same clothing, boat and food as the original. Nicole chats to him about fitting back into everyday life after going to the edges of the planet, his views on climate change and what he hopes for the future.
